She's quirky-

Each one of my girls have had a 'fetish' I guess you could call it when they were really young. Gracie was a blankie baby. She had to have her blankie especially at bed time. Luckily it wasn't one in particular so we could trade off and wash them every now and again. Hayden was into hair. My hair mostly. She couldn't go to sleep without twisting a lock of hair for a while. I can't tell you how annoying this was especially when I was trying to go to sleep myself. ( I know serves me right for not putting her in her own bed but that's a whole other story) Now Chandler, well she likes the hem of shirts. At first it was the hem of my sleeve. When she was really little and couldn't get anyone to hold her she would go as far as to get my nightgown out of the dirty clothes. For some reason she really liked my ratty old night gown. Nowadays, any ones shirt will do, even her own when she's desperate, and its the bottom hem. She will flip it up and touch it on her top lip. When she's tired she gets that sucky mouth that little kids get and sucks on her bottom lip a little and grabs someones shirt. It's a little embarrassing in public when she grabs my jacket and yanks it up. It totally looks like I'm going to nurse her and she's a little old for that. Plus I don't enjoy flashing my fat belly to the world. It's a little strange, I like to say quirky, it sounds nicer. Besides I know there a lot of kids out there who have "quirks" that are a heck of a lot stranger than that. It's just part of our routine now. When she's tired I just pull out my shirt and hand it to her. Thank goodness her sisters love her so much and allow her to use their shirts every now and again. You know it's love when your sister lets you touch the hem of her shirt to your mouth.

It's really funny when you are trying to read her a story, and your all crunched over, I'm happy to know she will take one that is not attached. She is a doll no matter how quirky!! See at the Super Bowl Party.

Have you seen the ratty monkey Jack carries around? Yeah, I've got to break that one soon! Olivia's Luke was obsessed with hair too, and Mia is obsessed with rubbing arms! Kids are crazy! Hopefully she'll grow out of it soon, so you won't have to keep flashing people!

It is worth it because she has the cutest face in the whole world and you could NEVER tell her no. You know that I have a arm rubbing child so don't get me started. I love you new design, as always it is fantastic.

Your girls are so cute. I'd let her use my hem anyday.

Amen! Amen! Amen! That child is beautiful so what if she has to have a hem! (It's always so much easier when you're a Grandma!)

She is so cute! That is such a funny fixation. We really need to get together so the kids can play.
